STI 5 Type R Boost Levels
Is it acceptable under agressive acceleration for boost to hit about 1.4 bar then settle to about 1.1 (ish) ?
What is the Fuel cut boost level for an STI 5 Type R? Any ideas why my car would hit this violent fuel cut level following piston replacement work ?

I hit 1.3ish bar peak then settle to 1.1 bar
Fuel cut is at 1.25 bar I believe. Don't know about your pisoton work though but doubt this should affect boost levels.
Fuel cut feels like you hit a brick wall. I've got a v4 Type R
