MAP sensor

If you look at the piccie below, the pressure exchange solenoid is shown - the map sensor is to the lower left with the wastegate solenoid below the pressure exchange solenoid

someone's got an avcr eh del 
the map sensor looks like an upside down black moulded box with wires leading to a grey plug that you can see at the bottom left of the pic.
Dead easy to change to the later 3 bar map sensor. I know del gave me the wiring diagram for it too

The oem map sensor on the early classics 'tops' out at 17.2psig(1.18bar) so causes problems with boost cut as its voltage output saturates. It will also prevent you controlling the boost above 17.2psig if running on an oem ECU fitted with a chip

I thought the later MAP sensor where only 1.5 bar. You can change to a 3 bar but with a link ECU I think you restrict the ECU Map and it was not recommend by Bob from BR Developments when he mapped my car.
