Smile Is 350 BHP easy on classic STi now?

Hi guys. Have been out of Scoob ownership now for over a year so a little behing with developments. Toying with buying a classic STi as a second car/plaything. Also thinking about an Evo6,as I 've never had one. STi is cheaper and so as a second car makes some sense. It seems that 350BHP can be done on a Evo6 without much hassle(does cost though).
Can 350 BHP be achieved on a STi5/6 without having to go go fmic, having big laggy turbo etc ie can it be done easily and safely with exhaust, filter, fuel pump, remap?)
Many thanks.
ps previous cars UK98PPP,UK99,Sti4 Type R with BRD Link,(THE BEST!),and a JDM Sti 7 with Ecutek(the WORST)

the turbo and intercooler would need to be changed to get 350bhp, the reason being the sti tmic are good for about 330bhp. a vf34 off a new sti would achieve your required power figure. hope that helps.

So has no one achieved above 330 BHP with tmic safely?
Cheers, Deep.

A P1 I did with just a sports cat full Miltek exhaust and remap did 50 to 55 BHP over standard, using Optimax without additives and sensible boost.

Fuel pump, regulator, 20G, induction, exhaust, manifold, new age STi TMIC and scoop should get you about double this gain. The rest of the car is up to the job if you have an STi 5/6. If you lose the manifold, induction or STi TMIC/scoop you will chip away at these gains.

I don't think the VF34 is big enough to achieve 350 BHP easily on every dyno in the UK, some it would fall far short, it isn't much bigger than a VF28.

I'd get the Evo Very easy to get 350 BHP, turbo and intercooler are ample, and you'll do it with little lag.

Hi guys. JB, a little confused by your answer. A sti will have a STi IC and scoop,so why not having these will chip away at the gains? Confused!
330 ish BHP you got on the P1 is not at all bad. I've seen STi5s for under £10k now and most already have an after market exhaust. So another £1k for sundries and a remap should get me a fun, fast car for £11k. Evo6 staarts at about £14k. I'm going to test drive one on Wednesday.
Funny thing is I sold my STi4 Type R over two years ago for £11500,they have'nt dropped much after that!
Cheers,Deep.
