thinking about buying a 2002,,02 plate sti uk prodrive
got ppp,18s etc,really nice car
but theres no mention of a tracker
and i've been unable to ring them

would it have 1 as standard and what make/type ?

Yep. Same as current STi's I believe, if so RAC Trackstar.

with NO tracker

he says its got rac trackstar or trackster , cant remember

but its different to a tracker

The Sti's I have seen advertised have an RAC trackstar. Sounds like the person you contacted was under the impression you were asking if the car had a tracker. I.e a Tracker Retrieve, Horizon etc.. These are actually another make of tracker. So in effect it will have a tracker of some make other thatn the company tracker. E.g RAC Trackstar. Confused now?
