Default Would STI 02-04 aftermarket exhaust headers fit a uk98 car

Would STI 02-04 aftermarket exhaust headers fit a uk98 car? they look the same....I think the difference is on the other side of the turbo (dp back)

Plug is M18 X 1.5 AFAIK - most of the Aftermarket headers come with one as the WRX has a CAT in the U/Pipe and the STI doesn't. so they need to cater for both!

Think missunderstanding here....

The headers are to go on the 98uk car..

Your car has the 02 Sensor in the downpipe, the headers from the 02-04 car will poss have a boss in the up pipe already as them particular years have a sensor in the up pipe. As Russel states you will need a Lambda Bung.

Uppipe or collector boss, the temperature drops across the turbo so the downpipe location would not be ideal

Changing the subject slightly - what injectors fit in the 98 fuel rail, would I need a fitting kit?

Most aftermarket injectors need a fitting kit for the Ph1 rails, you will find injectors and adaptors in scoobyshop

Hi Andy,

I had a few beers yesterday hence the confusion,

I will require 550's + fitting kits for a 98 uk fuel rail, one of your standard tdo5 fe and a apexi fc the car is at Barretts at the mo having the engine rebuilt and should be ready the end of feb this giving me time to do some OT and buy all the required bits.

Can you PM me a price on the above, where abouts are you based?

Rgds, Bryan
