Default Noise from STI RA

Hiya,

I have a version 2 Sti RA and dont have it that long but when manovering it slowly and turnign the steering wheel I hear this strange noise. I have the DCCD turned to open (green). Its like listening to a spring that has been under load and then left off. It happens in about 4 or 5 intervals on a full turn. Is this normal or if not does anyone know what it could be?
Thanks.

Well Im not sure, the controller near the handbrake seems to work, as in when you move up a notch it goes up through the various light. Could it be diff damage. It does sound like its winding up but I cannot understand it.
