Default Disconnecting the abs

is there any way of doing this on my MY99 uk car, with the winter now truely upon us i find the abs a nightmare in snow or ice, i'd prefer the car without it so is there a safe way to do this?

hi dave,
the easiest way is to disconnect one of the abs wheel sensors. i havent looked at a wiring diagram but i suspect you should be able to simply remove a fuse as an alternative. i am not responsible for any of what i have just said. heh heh

thanks, i was thinking about a fuse but i was just wondering if that would effect anything else on the car once it was removed.
