Best to get remapped really, and thats what actually maj=kes it worth very little in comparison with what it cost, remap could cost £300 +vat, and starting from scratch cost about £650 + so I would be looking to pay maybe 200-250 for it, which almost makes it worth leaving on the car!

Not a good idea to swap TEK3's around, esp when you have different mods, and it wont work on an STi either. As Ron says, due to the remap costs they are almost worthless to sell on.

TEK 2's fetch more money.

shouldnt really matter, the map is there to get the most out of the larger turbo if used, if still used with a td04 then it will still work fine with the usual gains like a TEK2

OR get the mapper to flash back on your previous map (if they still have it, or a standard TEK2 map), only takes 10min, then sell it as a TEK2

That's not quite right Peccy. Different turbo will provide different flows / pressureas at different points in the rev range. If you usre it with a different turbo with a different compressor map, its not going to be right. I imagine the tek3 map is pretty precice and ive heard of people seeing KL activity jsut from changing backboxes....

Up to you though
