misses after an x reg 'sport' 2 litre non turbo, but wants the vent!cant blame her really.

Sold my sti bonnet to a guy with a sport, as long as you get the right MY as in face lift/non face lift, you will not have any problems.

MY stand for model year, and IIRC the face lift took place in 97/98, so if the car your looking at is a 00 then it would be after the face lift.

You can buy tin snips for £5, plus a replacement scoop for not much . . .

But seriously, X reg sport will be the last of the "classic" shape impreza's. Much later, you got into the MY01 with the "bugeye" round headlights - those bonnets won't fit. MY99 or MY00 turbo bonnets you should be safe with, not sure about the MY98.
