Question Windscreen wipers !

Help save my sanity - how do I stop the bl00dy things from squeaking in the wet.

I dont think they are knackered as they dont fishtail.

Squeaking? Or juddering?

Squeaking: change the blades.
Juddering: twist the arm slightly, try it, if it's worse, twist it back more, if it's better, twist a bit more until it stops.

They're pretty new - only 9 months old.

My old VW Golf handbook recommend changing the wipers atleast once a year.
