Question Water Injection --- your installations..

I've obtained an ERL 2c system... before I start trying to install the system, I'd like to not re-invent the wheel, but to learn from other peoples experiences!
Such as, the optimum location for installing the pump,
boot mounted or engine bay water tank?
jet sizes? (one or two jets?)
etc. etc.

PS.
I'm running GEMS before someone tells me that it wont work with the standard ECU!!

Every other week! I get about 100 miles of reasonably quick driving. But I only have the pressure switch activated one.

I don't know about the new cars but on the classic there's a really nice shelf on the left hand side of the washer bottle (facing the back of the car) and a bit toward the back of the engine bay, about 6 inches below the water bottle.

However I installed mine under the air filter.

clicky

You can't actually see it but it's underneath the plastic cold air ducting

Thanks for the replies and links...

I must admit that i'm not really that keen on using the existing washer bottle for the WI... i've seen the SPEC C boot mounted plastic tank (on the web) but don't know of anyone who has fitted it to a Classic.... anyone??

The MRT is another option.. anyone got one of these???
