Question Cannister hoses

I would like to remove the plastic cannister under the bonnet of my p1, and totally de-hose it. I guess that the bottom hose goes back to the fuel tank, could somebody please tell me where the 2 top hoses go to that dissapear under the inlet manifold.

Cheers....Rob.

bottom hose is a vent to the chassis leg.
one of the top hoses is a vent for gases from the fuel tank, the other is from the purge solenoid I believe.
UK cars of a 99 age have three and the third is a return to the inlet.

just T all three together with an unequal T piece and stick the bottom one back into its little hole down behind the headlight.
