Depends what type of flames you want really:

1: Little flashes, ie rally style?
2: Large BBQ type ones that light up the nite?

For 1

Well all i know a WOT gear changes and deceleration blue flashes turning to yellow woth come out on a regular basis with my car, standard apart for de-cat centre.

For 2

Full decat, (VTA Dump valve helps) , and a flamer kit. Unless you have antilag etc etc.

There u go

position of the screw on the valve will make little difference. just get her nice and hot and she should pop and bang nicely with the decat.

if you want to go for the full naff 6ft flame effect you'll need a flamer kit, which is basically a spark plug in the backbox ignited via a coil.

antilag really isn't suitable for a road car unless you want to change your turbo every couple of thousand miles.

I have a full decat exhuast, HKS SSQV and its running TEK2 but the only time I really get a pop is if I blip the throttle to around (3K revs) changing down a gear.

If its very hot I and just rev to 3K I'll get the odd pop but never seen a flame. Don't fancy a flamer kit either but an ickle rally-esque flame would be cool.
