Just thought i'd try to see if anyone may be able to help!!

I recently got my 94 WRX any within a couple of days the CHECK ENGINE light kept coming on and going off. Well to cut a long storie short, when i got used to the car and used more right foot i notice that when the CHECK ENGINE light was lit when i clogged it the boost felt all funny like something was holding it back, but when it goes out its fine. When lit any driving normally nothing seems wrong even if the light is on!!

Anyone got any suggestions, someone has suggested it may be the air flow meter

Sorted mate just need to get a nedd air flow meter, suprise suprise!!

Try cleaning very carefully with brake cleaning solvent.

The Pre 99 MAF's are pretty robust and don't give many problems (Unlike the Post 99 MAF's)

 

Sounds like it's worth a go to me!!, i'll give it a try in morning, thanks
