Default still surging

well here`s the story!i`ve now changed the lambda for a nice shiney Bosch and i`ve still got the gentle surging.Have now disconnected lambda and it runs spot on,i am just a tad confused now!!Anybody got an idea where to go from here?

i would take it 2 a MOT testing centre & get the emmisions tested .......with & without the lambda connected .

Have you tried an ECU reset since fitting the new lambda...?

disconnected the battery for an hour?still the same.would it possibly be a MAF problem?stumbling in the dark here!had my local garage check the emissions-spot on all round.

If disconnecting the lambda improves the surging, I doubt it would be MAF related. Of course, having said that, if it was the lambda sensor at fault, why is it still surging with a brand new lambda sensor? Pass...

Just out of interest, where did you get the Bosch lambda sensor from?

it just feels like a fuel/air problem.maybe with the lambda diconnected it is running so rich it overcomes the MAF?
