Does the Power FC use the idle control valve?

Question Does the Power FC use the idle control valve?

just thinking of saving some space around the IC and i thought i'd read it somewhere on here that the Power FC doesn't use the idle control valve mounted on the inlet manifold, am i right or have i misread this somewhere?

it doesnt use the purge solenoid, thats removable, although on early cars is it there in the first instance?
ICSV most definately need that
