Impreza P1 engine??

Question Impreza P1 engine??

I am not from UK, but I would like to know here I can buy a new short block of the Impreza P1 to fit whit my OEM EJ MY00 engine heads??

For this kind of aplication is the best OEM short block that fit whit this heads that I can find right???

I thought the P1 block was the same as the STI5/6.

The big end problem doesn't go away though. You can't buy a P1 short motor from Subaru unless you have a donor P1 short motor to give in return I believe. The only real difference with the P1 short motor is that the pistons are forged. There was mention of blueprinting of various STi engines as well, I think it varies a lot.
