Unhappy TROUBLE STARTING WHEN WARM

hello to you. i have a 96 sti import and it starts fine first thing in the morning but just recently i have been noticing that when i drive and the temp is at normal, after turning the engine off for example to fill up the bloody thing will not start you have to wait about 10 minutes before it will fire up. i do not have a turbo timer fitted could this be the problem ?? i look forward to any reply as im getting a bit worried now

many thanks
james
