Shall I buy it? (WRX) Help needed :-)
Hi All!
I've been offered a 1993 Jap import WRX for 3k. I've checked it over and the mechanics seem mint (62000 miles). It has an SVA and MOT etc for UK roads.
Are there any disadvantages buying an import? And has anybody got a clue what the power output and performance figures this model has, as I was told by somebody thats its limited to 112mph!?!

1993 WRXs are Version 1, 240BHP, the insurance is gonna cast you alot more, i am driving an import as well, you can remove the speed limit by converting the speedo into MPH or chip it(HKS SLD) 3k is a good price, but has it got any extras??

Bought it tonite!
When you say extras, you mean mods or electric windows? Totally bog standard. Even got the am/fm tuner still in it.
The speedo has been changed to mph by an in line conveter. Does that really work?!?! Cool if it does.
The insurance is about £400 with norwich onion, not bad for a 27yo in se london ;-)
