Question PowerFC Question

If I turn the Ignition map down by 30 on the Power FC, will the emissions still show up for an MOT?

But would that work...

As the Powerfc, has the testing tool, where you can increase or decrease the map including the fuel quite easily?

do you have the commander unit?
I know that I was peaking at the zones when stuck in traffic yesterday, and through that then yes, I could advance, retard as necessary (after triple checking with Andy first that I wont ***** the map ).
without it then I wouldnt know how to access the map to be honest without a laptop and the apexi software...

Yes i have the unit...

Its the same as accessing it from the Laptop, but your limited to the tiny screen...Its very simple to bring the Map down, but im not sure if that will actually reduce the emissions or not?

Have been trying to get hold of Andy, but still no luck..!

The ECU will run the air/fuel mix at the correct level for a catalyst and will even pass the roadside checks but without an actual cat fitted then no ECU can pass an MOT cat test.
