Question Is my imported WRX resctricted ???

Hi all,

When I first owned my 95 wrx I gave it a damm good run and noticed that when it hit around 115mph it behaved as if a rev limiter cut in, might I add at that moment in time I sh*t my pants thinking I done some severe damage and since then have been driving it like the average oap drives their shop mobility scooter around the local charity shop.....

However I have just read that it may well indeed have a restricter fitted...is this right??? if so, how do I get it removed ?? onder2:
