Default Dawes fitting with 3 port solenoid?

Hi all

Having just aquired at dawes device for my legacy turbo, i'm stuck. I know how to fit them on Imprezas with a normal 2 port but because i believe mine is a 3 port solenoid im unsure of what pipes need to be blocked off etc.

Theres a fairly thick pipe going from the wastegate to the bottom of the solenoid, so i take it i block this one of and plum in the dawes from that pipe to a compresor side of the turbo somewhere?

Any ideas/pics guys?

Thanks

Default Dawes Valve installation help

Hi If you kow how to fit on the impreza please let me know.

I have a 1994 WRX which may or may not be the same set up as the legasy.

I have a pipe that comes from the wastegate actuator and goes to the lower part of the wastegate control solenoid(P/N 16102AA013).

I have another pipe that comes from the turbo housing that goes to the top of the wastegate control solenoid above.

Do i fit the dawes in line between the wastegate actuator and turbo housing and just block both ends of the pipes from the wastegate control solenoid. I have spent hours trying to find pics but all i can see are instructions for a 99 uk impreza which pipe work is slightly different.

appreciate any assistance

Mark.

Place Dawes between the Turbo outlet nipple and the actuator. Hence bypassing the boost control solenoid. Blank off the hoses that run to the Boost Control Solenoid.

I recon your MY94 will be the same as mine, cus mine is an MY95. I think you havw to take the wastegate actuator pipe of, blank of the solenoid end, and plum the dawes into that, then go to a turbo outlet end and plum the other end into that.

I'll take some pics of my set up when i can, see if we can get to the bottom of it.

cheers
