Default boot cable

my lttle handle next to my seat has stopped opening my boot is this expensive to get done at the dealers

also is there any other things which cause this to fail , as im assuming a cable has snapped similar to the bonnet operation

There's a little lever as part of the catch on the bootlid which is used to switch the interior boot release on and off - have you checked that?

on the catch!

open the boot with the key, and to the right on the catch is a little lever, flick it and shut the bott, chances are the lever will then work!
