Hi,

Can someone please tell me what part of the cooling system this is?? As the photo may show it's leaking. This only started today but it seems to be dripping coolant out the bottom as well as the pipe on the right. What's caused this to happen and how much is a replacement?? Have been searching the forum this evening and a lot is mentioned about a plastic part on the radiator but this seems to be seperate.

This is the g/f's Jan 98 Classic saloon.

That aint part of the cooling system its a thingy bob for the emisions, it comes from some of the breathers on the engine i think. thinks its a PCV could be wrong..!!!

Have a look to see if its oil..! Could be blowing out. Or if its coolant look and the two pipes above it that connects to the radiator...

It's definately coolant, it's a green fluid.

its a purge cannister, its absobs the petrol fumes in your engine to help against high emission for when you get your MOT and that done
