Default remap question..

hey guys, if any of you have been tracking my plans you'll already know about the mods doing to my car, so i wont repeat them lol. basically its possible that I will not have the STi 8 intercooler in time for the remap, and was wondering if this would be much of a problem? could the mapper (in this case Richard from tsl) map so as to think theres a bigger I/c there? just want to know if I could lose any power by not having it there for the remap, and then adding it after....?
cheers

Agreed, you can't easily predict these things and you would therefore have to shell out for a second remap. Unless they are kind enough to let you borrow one for the map

I'd wait for the STi Intercooler...........

It may be an OEM item but according to many on Scoobynet it is a very effective item at lowering charge temps and reducing pressure drop ... I got one for my TEK3 Bugeye re-map

well the problem is taking the time off work (being self employed) as I am away soon until the monday night/early tuesday morning, and so i would be taking the tuesday off. but if I can get my sons to collect the intercooler on the monday evening (if they come in stock at APi) then all is fine and dandy! does anybody know where they are located as a rough idea as to how long they would have to travel, are they close to TSL?? lol I have already spoke to David about this, but he unfortunately will not know if the delivery has intercoolers until the afternoon, but we shall see!
cheers
