Unichip Boost Controller??
Hi All
Has anyone used the Unichip Boost controller??
I have a unichip installed and have been told it would be worth getting the extra module.
Walbro pump and SX regulator on the way
Any advice much welcomed..

It was a fixed duty cycle open loop system that varies between gears and weather conditions, exhaust gas temperature etc.
They were planning a 3d version with PID control away back, never heard any more.

So is it worth getting? it would cost £110 for the module + fitting and mapping, so for about £310 It would be done and I would have about 315bhp..
Or would I be better off getting an Apexi or like controller?

I have found out a little more now and I think I will give it a go. I will take the Unichip as far as I can, Then change for the Apexi Pfc/AVC-R.

PJ, please let me know how you get on. What, exactly, does this module give you over the standard Unichip? More horsepower?

You can map the wastegate. so you can have different boost at different Rpm. Im gonna try 1.3bar low then tail off to 1.1 at the top. so more through the range..
I stand to be corrected but this is what I understand..
