£45 is about right and it is real easy to fit. No drilling or any other mods. Just undo the nuts on the top of the strut tops, fit the bar and refit the nuts. Any half decent mechanic should be able to do the job in 10 mins.

i have e tech braces front &rear, from the description it sounds like a rear brace on offer, these are a bit more fiddly to do than the front as you have to remove the rear seat but is definatley d-i-yable.
i paid £50 for each

Is the bar straight or does it have a slight angle in it?

Looks nothing like that one buff
Its more like flat with rounded edges and yes its angled either side with the e-tech logo embossed in the brushed alloy finish...
The mounts have 3 fixings like a horse shoe in black painted steel

Hi. It sounds just like mine which has red ends rather than black so yours is probably a later one. It's a doddle to fit and clears the intercooler- just. If the inter cooler knocks against it just press down gently on it (the intercooler, I mean) for a wee bit more clearance. They are £66 from Demon Tweeks but the one Buff has is a copy of the STi one and costs £100. Hops this helps

It sounds Identical to mine - Fitting is very easy, clearance to TMIC should be ok but difficult to say as I have an FMIC

Cheers
