Talking BP Ultima (well i think thats what it was called)

is it me???

put £20 worth of BP Ulti (something or other) 97 octane in the other day as i was not too sure on the distance to the next Shell garage.

The car seemed to be a lot more responsive, or is it just my imagination?

anyone else tried this fuel?

Steve

Avoid it like the plague. I asked the guy at the counter of my local bp and he says its only 96-97 octane. I tried it on my 95 sti ra and it ran like a bag of pish.

Optimax + nf for me every time

Tried it the other day and the knocklink was all over the place, doesn't move with optimax - to the point where I wondered if it was working.

Optimax is best, and safest for the engine.
