Uk95 remap or APexi fc?
Remap is £400... Apexi Fc fitted and mapped £700.
I know the APexi is better and more flexible, but do I need it on a car with just a full decat?
I`m not planning on any major mods, maybe a bigger tm intercooler, but thats it.
My 95 uk wagon is putting out 238 bhp and same torque at the moment.
Any ideas, comments or previous experience of any of the above, please post and let me know.
Cheers

I know.... its more initial outlay, but I`d be able to sell it and return my car back to its original ecu.
Any more APexi fc users out there?

I was thinking along the same lines myself. I have a UK MY95 Saloon with decat dp and full 3" system. I decided to go the Power FC route as it is much more flexible if I should decide to go further (getting fitted in 3 weeks and mapped by Andy F). I have just fitted a Walbro pump and FSE regulator in preparation. I am hoping to have a MRT tmic and STi 8 scoop fitted before mapping but this may not come off as the i/c is made to order :/

I did a lot of research on the PCF before finally sourcing one for Andy to remap on MY97. Then I realised it would be another 900.00 (including Andys travelling costs) or so that I was ploughing in to the car which I was planning to sell before the end of the year. Like you thought about returning it to standard but thought it would be a shame to do so given the bolt on goodies that are already on there but knew it would be unlikely that I'd get my money back when I come to get shut.
Waffling a bit here. Up shot was I sold the unit before fitting and now I'm keeping the car for six months at the very least wish I hadn't. Its money well spent IMHO. You wont regret it.......
