Question Handbrake light stays on!

If its not one thing its another at the moment, after getting the blitz exhaust fitted grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr everything was running smooth until a few weeks ago i noticed the handbrake light keeps staying on even though the handbrake is fully released, has anyone found a solution to this little problem or is it just a case of getting the handbrake sensor replaced????

Would appreciate any guidance in this difficult time...........

I had this a few months back. It turned out the brake fluid was just low. Had it topped up and it turned off. Job done.

My handbrake light has been like that for about a year now. I know what the problen is, but I'm just too lazy to fix it.
A wire has come loose from the handbrake switch.
