Subaru main dealer charged £550 to supply and fit an Exidy Grp N clutch to mine, £350 for parts, £200 labour. Plus vat and oil tho'.
Crank seal needs bottom pulley off, but probably only 1 - 2 hours work max? So say £100 for that max?? Seal is about £9 ??

Clutch is hydraulic so no adjustment available IIRC, I believe the pedal adjustment just alters how much movement before peddle actually pushed the hydraulic piston.
I think it sounds like your clutch is dead, best bite the bullet and get it done before it causes more problems / costs, like knacker the flywheel.
Phone local clutch places and see if they can do it / what they would charge to fit a clutch / your own provided clutch ( labour only).
Ask the garage for price to fit your clutch, as much over £200 is a rip off .. should be what, 3 - 5 hours all in? Unless new age car, engine out job there and I don't know costs!

Don't know if it will fix it, try bleeding the clutch system.
Grease the slave cylinder pivot point ( under the intercooler though )
Perhaps change the slave cylinder?
