Simple Fuel Question
Morning all
MY04 WRX Wagon. 4500K on the clock. Driving 100 miles a day all this week.
Sunday night put £20 of ESSO SUL in.
Tuesday afternoon put £20 of BP Ultimate in.
Thursday morning (with fuel light on for about 14 miles) put £25 of Optimax in.
Up to this morning I've not really booted the car that much (a few times on Wednesday coming home) but after putting Optimax in.... and this morning being a bit colder than normal, I put my foot down.
Got so say the car felt sluggish. It seemed to boost, but not accelerate like it normally does. I know MY04's are not bullet like, but they do pull well and keep going... which mine seemed not too
I presume the ECU takes a while to learn there's higher octane fuel in the tank? I've only covered 35 miles since filling up.
Any thoughts?
