Default Help with HKS SSQV

Mods can you leave here for a while please went all day yesterday in General Tech with no replies....

I bought a HKS SSQV Dump valve 2nd hand about a year ago and only got to fit it to the car a short while ago.

When the pressure builds up I get a high pitched Sqealing (It sounds like air escaping when from a balloon when you pull it to make it squeal) from the area where the dump valve is under the engine bay when the dump valve releases with the regular Woosh noise, the screaching an still be heard but its tailing off like a wheeze. It doesnt reach the same boost levels as before maybe .3-.4 bar lower than before it was fitted.

I'm pretty sure its the DV as all the connecting pipes were sealed with that red liquid gasket, and I can't see any evidence of leaking.

Is it easy to take the DV apart and gain access to the spring asembley?
Any ideas???

Thank in advance

only time my HKS SSQV or standard dump made that noise was when I hadn't tightned up the 2 bolts that hold it onto the intercooler properly. One was loose and there was an air leak.
