94 wrx probs
Hi my WRX isnt running smooth (standard car)
The main problem is when changing down through the gears i get a shuddering as i let the clutch out, could this be a clutch problem? and also when booting it, she misses a beat sometimes. Any ideas would be helpful.
Thanks..

May well be the dump valve stuck, although if its when the clutch bites it will be a clutch problem. Have you checked the fluid level? It may be a bit sticky and springing closed. Take the DV off and give it a clean... Is it standard or aftermarket?
Hesitation when booting it could be the o2 sensor. Is it when building boost or flat out?

Your car does have a dump valve as standard, all turbo cars will. I suspect its not that but worth cleaning anyway
If its when building up boost, more than likely the lambda / 02 sensor needs replacing. Do a search on this. On your car, its located in the exhaust headers under the front bumper, on the drivers side. Its a couple of inches long and has 3 wires coming from it, threaded into the exhaust.
It controls fuelling off boost, and they quite frequently break
Could be a number of things. Not sure on the clutch.
