Default Fuel pressure reg question

If my FPR was stuck open would it stop excess fuel going back to the tank, causing the car to run rich as it would be forcing more fuel into the injecters because of the increased rail pressures?

Cheers

FPR stuck open would give you less pressure as its on the return not flow

Just spoken to a mate of mine, and its either stuck shut (most likely) or sticking at low pressure, creating high rail pressure at low revs.

I've been having a misfire and general rough running recently. I've checked or tested everything except my FPR so its going to get replaced now.
