Question WHAT ECU DO I BUY ???????????????????????????

HIYALL !!!!!

i have a 94wrx,currently stripped to the bone as it will be a rally car in the near future ( group A clubman spec )

its time to price up the ecu ,,but whats is my best bet ??

i need value for money (as i am on a budget ),

i need anti lag,

i need to be able to tweek the car on a laptop by myself/or mapper, when needed,

any links or prices or contacts would be a great help

From your "wants" I reccomend you buy GEMS. Steve Simpson does it and while some on this board may not htink he is the best for raod cars, I would argue he is for rally cars. He did my mates STi6 and we have never had a problem with it.

i was looking at a gems myself,,but are there any other ecu's that have the same features ????????

gems and motec,,,,,,,

right then,,any ideas where is the best place to buy them ,have them fitted and mapped ???????

I should point out, in the interest of fair trade, market competition etc, that other comapies also sell these products

I think link has anti-lag as an add on if you want it (not sure if it depends on age), which would make it still much cheeper than gems or motec, however it's still short of a few features which would be good on a rally car.
