steering noise

Default steering noise

when car is sitting still and move the steering left and right there is rubber rubbing sound any ideas what this could be had it in garage and they says it was just dry bushes but noise is still there and doing my head in.car is a 1997 type r.

The first one to say it's the sound of the tyres rubbing on the ground gets a slap!
Sorry mate, after almost a bottle of red I've reached the really silly stage.
Seriously, look to the steering pump? Make sure the drive belt is not slipping - the pump puts a load on the engine when it has to work hard.
