just fitted de cat centre section and prodrive bb been on a run and there is nothing different than before apart from the engine noise where does the 18 bhp that the manufacturers tell you,you will gain go ,surely you would notice this amount is there something else I should have done when doing this mod? any advice would be appreciated I did not expect 22b performance butttttt? nothing,come on

 

you really need to fit a decat downpipe to notice a big difference,as i would say the exhaust gases are coming from the turbo,hitting the big downpipe cat and then in to your free flow exhaust,so you need to eliminate the restriction(downpipe)..well thats my pennys worth...

 

18 bhp? Not sure where you got that one, but about 5 would be more realistic, and therefore hardly noticable.

The downpipe and full decat / backbox can give up to 30 ish bhp.

I have found the centre decat will give 2-6 bhp gains only...........

 

its the scoobynet dreamers who say 18bhp from a backbox

I never noticed anything with a firestorm and decat centre

get a downpipe and a ecutek and you will tell the difference
