Rough idling after storing

Rough idling after storing
After about a month of not driving the scooby (though started 2 weeks ago and idled for 1/2), I thought it's about time to let the oil go round the system for a bit. Started first time, and idled as it should while cold.
But after driving for about 10 minutes around the work car park (no tax, so had to be off road), parked up again, and that's when it started to idle a bit rough. Sort of bouncing between 600 and 800rpm occasionally. Never, ever done that before.
Can I take it that it's just down to the old fuel/air locked in/and it will be sorted once driven properly with fresh petrol (which won't happen until the car is sold, as it's still got about 1/3 of a tank of optimax left? Thanks in advance

Optimax is known to go off quick, so I wouldnt drive it too hard
Refill, reset the ECU and see what happens.
If its no better then the usual o2 / maf are a good bet.
