As title can someone tell me what its from

thats what I thought but it came out of a V5 Sti ?

am I right in saying this ECU wouldnt work in that ?

I didn't know the wiring looms were compatible!

Assuming it IS a 22B ECU (which is by no means certain from that picture) it would seem a bad idea to have it on a standard STi engine. Unless the engine had been modified....but that opens up a lot of questions!

What was the code on top of the ECU? It would be a lot more helpful.

this was the top of the ECU



the guy says it came out of an Sti 5 and was remapped by Bob at BRD ?

it was originally in a 22B though.

he is advertising it as a Link ECU it wasnt until I asked him to take a pic of the board that we realised its deffo not a link

That is a version 4 LINK ECU and the chip was a custom one done specifically for the 22B, in practice it was soon superceded by the std chip as it evolved, the ecu could not have come from a STi5 as it is not plug compatable. The chipset is access by tuning module only and is several years old. Note that the ecu case means nothing and could have come from anywhere in terms of its labeling etc, only the pcb is Link not the case.
