Hi, just a quick one last night went for a quick blast (5th gear nearly to the red line for a couple of mins foot hard down on a track!) the check engine red light came on, so imediatly I backed off and coasted the light did go off after 10 seconds.

I continued home and the car seems fine! MY00

Any idear what the light was indecating?

Connect the black connectors together beneath the steering column, turn your ignition on (but not engine), and read the CEL flashes. More information can be found here...
