I would like to ear some opinions............How can I lose some weight in my Impreza MY00 whitout "dress up" the car!! I love the car like it is but I you like to get lost of some weight by changing some parts, like sti aluminium hood and many more!!

Please give me some ideias!!!!!

Carbon fibre bonnet and boot lid, poss cf front wings. Loose all the tat in the boot and replace space saver with a can of tyre weld and a RAC / AA card.

The front seats weigh a ton, about 15-20 kg's each. If you could find some aftermarket ones you like you could save a lot of weight.

 

if you want to go really deep into the weight saving thing then you could always replace all that heavy glass with a light weight plastic alternative.
However the only real option you have for weight reduction is to strip out the interior, soundproofing and aircon etc. Oh and fit some posh lightweight magnesium racing alloys, but this is going to start costing u mega bucks.
I believe there were a few threads earlier on this year about weight reduction, perhaps do a search to see if they come up.

Pull up all the carpet and throw away the soundproofing, then put the carpet back if you can't live with it.
