Sti7 intercooler waterspray//
Just a quick question has anybody fitted an sti7 intercooler waterspray onto there bugeye wrx i was thinking of doing the mod but was just wondering if the wireing connections are already there on the wrx its just that i cant see subaru changing the wireing harness to a great extent between the two models any help would be most appreciated.

Done it on my blobby WRX wagon.
There's no common wiring at all to plug into I'm afraid.
I just replicated the diagram as shown:

The manual button is only to kick start the timer. Don't use the button to take the full motor current to spray as it'll burn itself out or worse. The timer lasts for 3 seconds.
I wired everything via the ciggie socket power and ran the cabling under the carpet via the gear stick area.
The water pipework goes along the passenger sill trim, out the wing, through the wheel arch and into the bay by the fuse box if you want to copy the STi route but there are plenty of other bulkhead holes to go through.
The UK STi system is not a very clever design - so the use of the JDM auto button linked to a std relay that opens via temp switch is the next step.
