Standard size tube used is 15mm for the crankcase breather and 12mm for cam cover breather.

Posted the below in the catch tank group buy but this is a better palce for it me thinks

"Just a few more thoughts and I'm there....

Before I have the top machined to accept a breather, would you or wouldnt you fit one to the catch tank if you were venting your rockers.??

If I go the way I plan to, I would .....

a, Vent both rockers to atmo with breather filters and 1 metre of pipe.
b, Route from the 15mm spiggot from the crank to the catch tank and back to the pcv in the throttle housing.
c, Vent the top of the catch tank with another breather filter!!!

Please can you let me know what you think.

I'm also a bit lost with the return to the system from the tank and where and what to block . Now sussed - just block the lot that anit being used and chuck the old pipework.

Please help.

Cheers,

Ste.

P.S. anyone thinking of buying breathers...

Motorworld sell Savage ones for £ 9.99 or if your up north and int boro area, TripleSix sell "Green" lookalikies for £10.45 each inc vat. Just make sure you've got your Chav Suits on when you go into Motorworld or they look at you like youre a librarian or headmaster or summat. Blinged up little $hits"

Also just purchsed 30 mtrs of 16mm 5/8" I.D clear pvc reinforced hose for £16.04 inc vat from another "local" supplier up here. I know theres waaay too much hose but I've got two catch cans to fit to two cars so the price and quantity were good for me.
