BHP my99 uk turbo
Can anybody tell me what my BHP is on my99 uk turbo 2000 with prodrive backbox. (still has standard exhaust except rear box)
no other mods to my knowledge!
Sounds silly but i dont know what it's supposed to be standard.
and how can i increase this without spending big bucks???
or destroying engine.

216 BHP.
+100 BHP for about £1700:
TD05 turbo £500
Used stainless steel downpipe and midsection £200
Fuel pump £140
Intake Resonator removal
STi panel filter £30
Remap £650
Knocklink, boost gauge £170

You could try Jap Innovations or Prosport in the NW, ( Oldham and Stockport IIRC respectively ), Boundary Road Motorsport in St.Helens, etc.
Else mail order them from other scooby tuning specialists like XtremeScoobies, AS Performance, Scoobymania etc. and fit them yourself or use a local good garage / scooby specialist.

how reliable is 300+ bhp on a my98 .... uk spec ???
Its all good doing the power mods but how about the clutch and gearbox ...
do you have to change them or can you get them strengthened ...
maybe forged .... hehe
