Default Engine check light

Engine check light has just come on and engine will not idle (ie cutting out).
car has full decat and panel filter and remap done.
Could this be the maf sensor or lambda sensor faulty.
Please help as knockhill is on later today

Try unpluging your MAF.
If it turns over but runs lumpy then its your MAF

If it's a classic check your ECU http://www.saxonfields.freeserve.co.uk

2 of my friends have both had this problem on their scooby's, The first was a faulty fuel pump on a '99 RB5, the second was a faulty crank position sensor on a 01 WRX. Dont know if this helps???
