Question How do you remove the alternator pulley?

As above. How do you hold the pulley while you undo the nut and what torque should I use when it goes back on? Thanks

leave the belt on and tensioned.. put ratchet on it and hit it quick and hard with a hammer.. or use impact gun.

Torque? **** knows.. just reasonably tight

Thanks men. I'm removing the pulley to polish it It will polish up like chrome and then it will get a coat of lacquer to preserve it. Incidentally, if you're interested, the original belt shield over the pulleys comes up this way as well. Bling bling anybody?
