Hi all

Just fitting a SECS engine monitor on the P1 and are having trouble removing the centre storage flap above the heater vents.

I have removed the two screws that hold it in......................

Does anyone have any tips?

All that's really holding it now are two lugs either side of the vents. It takes a bit of force but just pull it straight forward and it will come eventually complete with vents - and with a bang, probably ! I raised mine a bit at the back to get a better grip and also pulled it at the front catch at the same time. It might help to thread a piece of string/duster/etc through the catch to get a better purchase. Hope this helps.

I've got Defis replacing mine. It takes more force than u think. I left it to the experts LOL (XtremeScoobies). I thought I was gonna break it IF i tried....

If anything they "yanked" it off LOL
