Default Increased Performance

Hi

I have WRX02, what can i do to increase the performance, i heard about PPP, what is it ? and where can i get it done?, how much ?

IF PPP is too expensive, what else can i do on the cheap ? I want to keep the original exhaust, as i dont want the car to sound very loud !

thanks

Do a search under PPP as it has been dicussed a hundred times,

It costs £1600 and is a replacement remapped ECU, upgraded exhaust parts, intercooler hose and that's about it I think,

And its covered by Subaru warranty, other non Subaru mods or work is not.

Brian.

the PPP will incease power to that of STi with plenty of pulling power for little more noise on the cruise

Full decat and remap - - may see 50BHP for circa £1200.

Back box change will give a few horses if you do some other pipework (ie centre section) underneath.

DON'T fit an induction kit - get a replacement Panel Filter.

On an 03 Blobeye I think but not on an 02 Bugeye as they were lower powered and different PPP etc I think.

That may be boll*cks though

Sorry to hijack but if you have a bugeye I'm selling the PPP "piggyback" ecu and restrictor for much cheapness here

All you'd need for the full PPP kit is a backbox and centre section which can easily be picked up in the F/S forum.

Should see you running approx 245 BHP and makes a huge difference over the standard car.

Bugeyes are the 2001/2002 WRX or STI

Blobeyes are the 2003 onwards WRX or STI

If the former there is little point in forking out £1600 on PPP as you can buy all the components second hand for much cheaper.

If the latter, PPP is a good option as they now use the ECUTEK software which give excellent gains.

Which do you have?
