Question where to buy cover gaskets

Hi, guys,

Looking for a set of rocker cover gaskets. I have a very slight leak. do they come with bolts and all seals? Can anyone put me right where to get them from. My 95 wrx. import.

Thanks. Jamie

Two places, Graham Goode Racing or API Engines, try David at www.apiengines.co.uk first.

Should be able to get them from any Subaru garage. You'll also want 6 bolt gaskets and 2 gaskets for the spark plugs on each side. May also want to get the solid half-moons which sometimes crack. A full kit Should be around £20 for each side.

I found that my rocker cover was leaking mainly from one of the bolt gaskets.

There are plenty of threads on the topic.

Default gaskets

Ta david and others. is the u.k. engine and rocker cover the same as for jap spec. I asked my local subaru dealer for some bits for my car. He blew his top when I said it was an import, he thought I was crazy to own an import and said they were rubbish. asked me to try elsewhere. I told him 'thank you very much for your kind attention'

I don't think Subaru UK can refuse to sell you parts if you have an import - but as a tip, just mention that you have a '95 Impreza' .

Sales guys don't tend to like imports, but those manning the spares desk don't usually care in my expeience, and may even offer some advice. I have a MY93 WRX, and have never had any probs getting parts - most engine parts are common to UK versions.

makes me laugh how the dealers can say that imports are rubbish (or similar) when they are basically the f'ing same thing! ok you need to tweak a little with an import but for christs sake you would think you had walked into a rolex dealers with a fake from cyprus that you paid £2 for and asked for a new strap under warranty.
